Stage One Site Plan
Covering 18ha of park-like land. opposite the A&P Showgrounds, this complex is set to be a welcoming hub for all things equine and nature.
The equine world is so diverse – and this venue will be too, giving us the ability for riding trails, all weather arenas, show-jumping and cross-country facilities; it will be suited to any discipline, at any level. Additionally, there will be stables, yards and wash bays available for your convenience.
Community, well-being, education and environmental preservation are at the forefront of this complex’s development, ensuring it becomes a facility that can be enjoyed by all for years to come.
The Stratford Park Equestrian Complex is to be completed at various stages and we are excited that the Taranaki Regional Facilities Consortium recently endorsed Stage One of the Equestrian Complex.
This is significant, in that it allows us to explore funding opportunities with their support and backing.
Stage One includes the entrance, driveway and both truck and float parking. It includes, two all-weather arenas, one smaller, one larger. Stage One also includes, yarding and stabling, as well as fencing in our grazing area, that will be available for lease.
We are currently working with the High Schools in Stratford on both Equine and Agricultural educational opportunities.
We invite stakeholders who may be interested in coming on board in some capacity to reach out to us via email projectmanager@stratfordpark.co.nz
