For over 100 years the Stratford Showgrounds which are nestled in the shadow of Mt.Taranaki, have provided a picturesque setting for the annual A&P show held on the last weekend of November. Generations of exhibitors and onlookers have been coming to the show since its inception over 100 years ago.

The A&P have been the mastermind behind the Stratford Park Project, with the initial idea for the park being generated during an A&P meeting over 3 years ago.

The A&P Event Park will not only feature upgraded and modernised facilities to host the much loved A&P Shows but there will be new facilities such as a huge covered amphitheatre, trade show buildings and an entertainment area. The hopes is that ultimately the space will allow bigger gatherings such as festivals and concerts and bigger shows.
